Boot to utility partition...

OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64 bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 30 Stepping 5
Processor Count: 4
RAM: 8151 Mb
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5450, 1024 Mb
Hard Drives: C: Total - 705220 MB, Free - 628024 MB; J: Total - 1907726 MB, Free - 1388708 MB;
Motherboard: Dell Inc., 0T568R
Antivirus: Avira Desktop, Updated and Enabled

It all started with a blue screen of death (in this instance target mdl too small (0x00000040)).

In the midst of getting help with that problem, my computer finally refused to boot up. In an attempt to force the issue (there was info I needed for the next step to fix the initial problem) I chose the 'boot to utility' option without first looking into what it was. Now I'm getting this:

No boot device available, wait for Enter key to retry.

SATA 1: Installed

SATA 2: Installed

SATA 3: None

SATA 4: None

I've already got everything off the drive I want to keep, so now it's just a matter of getting the OS to start booting up again. Or is this a hardware issue now?
